Welcome
Welcome to the AMERICAN JEWISH COLLEGE. The goal of the AJC is to develop an understanding of how a non-geographically-defined culture has preserved its ethnic and religious identity. Students learn the historical, literary, and ideological developments that resulted in the formation of Judaism.

About AJC
The Certificate in Jewish Studies is an interdisciplinary program with courses drawn from the departments of Theology, Philosophy, History, Classics and English. Now you can also learn HEBREW from home. We can form a group in a time convenient for you to learn. Please contact us to form a STUDY GROUP.

Open To Everyone
Articles on the weekly Torah portion, parsha, from beginner to advanced levels. Divrei Torah, inspiration, ethics and stories for all ages. Online study of the Jewish holidays, Parsha, Halakha and Talmud by AMERICAN JEWISH COLLEGE.

Study Groups
Tips for using study groups to improve your academic performance in the classroom and on exams. Learn how to develop and effective study group. Hold study group sessions in a place free of distractions with room to spread materials out. How long? Study groups should meet for no more than 2-3 hours a week.

After School Programs
High quality afterschool programs generate positive outcomes for youth including improved academic performance, classroom behavior, and health and nutrition. Communities and businesses also benefit when youth have safe and productive ways to spend their time while their parents are at work. Several Federal agencies provide support and resources to afterschool programs to help promote positive outcomes for youth.

We are your home away from home. We provide opportunities to explore and experience Judaism in rich, vibrant, and exciting ways. You can join us for popular events like Shabbat and Late Meal, regular opportunities to study Jewish texts, and blowout parties for Purim and Reunions. AJC is always bustling with activity, and our door is always open for you to join our family.
